In the Northwest Atlantic from Cornwalls and Hudson's Bay to Martha Vineyard; in the Northeast Atlantic and the Arctic off Northeast Greenland (Duris & Weslawski, 1995) to Southern Norway and Britain in the south; The White and Barents Seas, the Arctic coast of Siberia, the Beaufort Sea, the Chukchi Sea; in the Pacific, it descends to the south along the Asian mainland to Zal.
